Arguably one of the best football players in the history of AFL, Gary Ablett Jr is a highly decorated player - he holds the record for the most Brownlow Medal votes at a whopping 262 votes. Among his many awards he’s won a Brownlow twice, this is all in spite of his numerous injuries that have peppered his career. He retired in 2020.

Only a month after kicking his 700th goal for the West Coast Eagles in July 2022, Kennedy announced his retirement from the AFL.

He departed at the end of the 2020 season.
